Me too, J, me too. Alas, I am far too pessimistic to believe that anything good will come of this.
Still…I wonder if they will ever take my suggestion about adding skydiving seriously…
I must say that some of the options of new objects/towns got me excited…yet I’m sure they will be over-priced and not done well.
I think I wrote about two pages at the end when it asked for further suggestions.
I love The Sims, but I gave them a piece of my mind about their falling standards and money hungry ways.
I don’t buy from the store, but when they asked if $1.00 of real money was a good price for a virtual couch…I mean come on …that’s insane. I said if they gave us a complete set of objects (IE a whole bathroom set) for $3.00, I’d be much more willing to splurge every now and then.
It’s rather frustrating at times being a fan of The Sims lately….I just hope they can get back the creativity and spark they once had. I would be more than happy to pay them $40 for an expansion pack if it truly had $40 worth of new content and interactions…not just 20 new versions of the same old washing machine or video game system we already had .
The fact that they’re using a market research company, instead of an internal department, means that sentiment and feedback will be reported on in an unbiased way without any spin. The unaltered report from VGMarket will probably land on the desk of a few senior managers, so I wouldn’t be too worried about it not being taken seriously. 🙂
I cannot believe this. Hey erm Blackscorpion, does this survey ONLY survey Sims Store? Because I used about 5 minutes and it is still about Store. Even worse, I was never interested in Store object, so I put 1 on all -.-
Its interesting to see how EA are thinking when it comes to the store. Especially with how they were asking about the venues. Isn’t it interesting how a police station, 50’s dinner and a cafe were on the list and at the moment they are rabbit holes. Maybe we might be getting more registers and stuff through the store or their planning on opening up some rabbit holes. Personally I’d hate it if they do that for many reasons, but since their are a lot of people who do want that, you never know.
Guess what? I rant on them since they wont read it. I rant about how I regret accepting Sims 3 and about to quit if Store objects keeps go on better than Expansion Packs.
I should have just continue Sims 1 forever. Looking future? Fat Chance for happiness childhood.
Some objects not mentioned that were in previous surveys include the witches cauldron, bear skin rug, diving boards, vending machines, radio with special dance moves and pizza venue.

I still think the above objects will be released.
Lol i put to stop pushing store content because that is why they make the EPs & Sps, referenced the kids compelation for 20$ as something that should have been in generations not piecemealed out for extra profit. I may een get on a computer & take it again to rant further. Maybe someone will take the hint *snorts*
Woah, I hope your joking 😉 cause you seriously doesn’t need to do that to get them notice, because Human is Greedy. Only boycott and stop buying will make them notice.(Now if now we can influence these news to players (Idiots) in FB)
P.S Sorry for rude word, because I seriously hate them support without knowing what is wrong and right.

Alot of thing past all the store content questions sounded really cool though. I’d hope to see them in an EP not store content. I wish they’d do an extended vacation ep to include those places mentions, Like tuscany & new orleans, even the hippie commune, lol
Filled in the survey. Doubt anything will change, but complaining while refusing to help even the slightest has never changed anything. So there you are. My points were the same as most others. I don’t buy from the store because it’s way too expensive (and repetitive).
You’d think with all their negetive press they’ve had & now a genuine lawsuit for screwing over buyers/players, EA would cool its proverbial heels and rethink its current business strategy. (my brain is tired, nothing looks like it’s spelled right. lol)
Everyone in the comment section it also said you could mention something to the sims 3 developers meaning it isnt limited to the store but stuff packs and rod as well.
I went on and on with a rant about how over priced the store shit is and how they need to stop worrying about the dam store in general and worry about The Game it’s self like who gives a flying fuck about store content fix the dam game you fools then worry about getting more money out of me, and by them NOT doing this makes get all the store content for free because it makes me fee like I’m getting back at them in way for not paying for there half ass content store crap!!!!
Stop the exhorbitant and foul pricing.
Fix the content you have already released that is broken or at a minimum don’t allow it to continue to be purchased.
Start paying a decent amount of attention to your customers instead of filtering their problems through unrelated skeleton staff in remote branches of Mars, Jupiter and Uranus.
Done! Also sent them some advice and practically ordered them to fix the game… I’ll keep my false expectations high.

Rofl, I agree.. it’s EA we’re talking about.
ROFL “Which of these features of Store you enjoy”
Umm. .what? where’s the NONE OF THE ABOVE -.- idiots..

End Rant.
Well that felt like a waste of time.
I told them how i really felt, but I very much doubt, what I said will actually be read…

By the way I voted for the clothes store venue.
In the Sims Store, yeah right.

Ugh I’m not interested in the store!!! I want all this ‘premium’ content to be included in the expansions like it should br.
*be
This. How stupid can they be?
Hate EA.
“Ugh I’m not interested in the store!!! I want all this ‘premium’ content to be included in the expansions like it should be!” [2]
I like the store but they need to lower the prices. Maybe they will now since so many people mentioned they should.
I told them I thought they shold bring back the slowdance in a future ep. So many people want it including myself.
Typo I meant to put should not shold so I know it’s misspelled. It was more of a typo hitting the wrong key thou.

Nice questions (casion’s etc 🙂

Just to make them mad – I asked for weather 🙂
Well – I have complained laods about the store prices, said to halve the prices, at least – to get more people to buy.. which means more money.
Also said to fix the game.. Sims 1 and Sims 2 as so much more stable and full of content.
HA! that survey made me laugh. I told them I can easily download all that store crap from some of my special websites.
Everyone in the comment section it also said you could mention something to the sims 3 developers meaning it isnt limited to the store but stuff packs and rod as well.
Rod means expansion pack. Gotta love typing on a touch screen cell phone.
Damn, I should have typed that in too! We should also tell them Modders are BETTER than the craps.
I gave as much constructive criticism as I could.
What it boiled down to is:
Stop the exhorbitant and foul pricing.
Fix the content you have already released that is broken or at a minimum don’t allow it to continue to be purchased.
Start paying a decent amount of attention to your customers instead of filtering their problems through unrelated skeleton staff in remote branches of Mars, Jupiter and Uranus.
Get your sh!t together, in a nutshell.
I miss Simday Thursdays.
