It’s a sad day for the Sims community, SimlishSims has announced that they will close on November 10th. They will be missed, but hopefully they will return someday.
It brings me great sadness to announce the closure of SimlishSims in the near future. As you have have noticed, I (Pat) have slowly drifted away from the site due to a combination of a busy life and a lack of true interest. Nick (my co-admin) has also taken on other commitments and thus has also drifted away. The site has basically been unfairly left to our journalist Simillion.
The above has lead to Nick and I making a decision to close SimlishSims.

Thanks for the post guys! Maybe some time in the future there will be an opportunity for us to contribute to the sims community once again.
