So two sites that I never heard of, claim that Pets will be over 5 Gigs in size for the PS3 version. Got news for them, that’s also for the 360 and PC/Mac versions as well. It’s obvious that they are not familiar with The Sims 3 games. But anyways, read what they say by clicking the links below. By the way, the base game is over 6 Gigs.
Thanks to Jovan Jovic for the tip.
Generations was a light EP so this is refreshing in my opinion.
I would also imagine that pets take up a lot more space than your average ep.
I think that’s obviously because of the heavy ammount of updates for both PC/MAC that are included, the expansion itself won’t be larger than 2GBs, I bet. And since the PS3/X360 versions are new games, not DLC (I’m not sure of this), EA has to include the game engine as well, wich must weigh 3 or 4GBs. The biggest expansions so far (that needed more space on the HDD) were World Adventures and Late Night. But maybe I’m wrong, because I haven’t got Generations nor Town Life Stuff, and with this whole Origin thing, I don’t know if EA is still putting updates on game media.
