I’m surprised they’d release this pic knowing everyone would get upset that they didn’t include the pool table. My guess is it will show up at the store for like 800 points or so.
Although I like seeing the concept art….I also hate seeing it as it always makes you realize how much they leave out and how much detail they cut from the game.
I love The Sims 3 and the expansions have had great themes…this just proves though that they don’t make the expansions live up to their potential.
Seriously, what kind of bar doesn’t have a pool table? They were even planning on making one and left it out. Lost opportunity in my opinion. Latenight was great but could have had so much more like the Murphy Beds, door mats for the newspaper so they don’t end up in the lobby, or basically anything else from The Sims 2 Apartment Life.
I just don’t understand how they leave some of this stuff how which is basically a direct copy from The Sims 3. It’s probably so easy for them to just copy the code over and have The Sims 2 objects in the Sims 3….so why don’t they just do it?
The DJ booth was a huge one! It’s stupid that your sims are dancing to the stereo at a club.
It would have bee cool to have the dance cage and light up floors make a come back as well. It was the only expansion pack that any of those items would even have made sense to add.
The pool table, DJ booth, and even a mic (at least for karaoke) were things that should have been in Late Night. Those are three popular things that should have never gone missing in a bar-club-themed pack. EA’s logic never seems to make sense.
sadly the didnt release the pool table
lazy sods :/

That was the first thing I first thought of.
So they removed the pool table, but kept the light with the pool cue, rack and balls on it.
Nice.
That, and they didn’t make proper booths (as advertised, even in game), just sectionals… WOW!
Don’t you worry guys…I’m sure we’re getting it one day…somehow :/

…A pool table?! Really EA, that of all things was cut? Wow. Hopefully it can be included in a sports EP.
Man, a pool table. Why did it get cut?!
