The Sims 3 official Facebook has shown off 4 new images showing store content coming in June. Not that many of us are bothered about the store (personally, I wish they stuck to making good stuff packs with 60+ items or at least lowered the prices). Anyway, for those who are interested, here they are.

Interesting… recliner with brand new animations 🙂 That’s unusual for a store item.
I don’t actually LIKE this one, but with the animations we could hope for a better one, from the modders if not from EA 🙂
The objects look ok, though there’s nothing I absolutely must have. The clothes are pretty bad, especially that weird overall dress thing with the big purple pockets in the front. I like the first guys’ outfit and that’s it.
All the clothes they make are so fug. The hair too.
I like the ruffly trenchcoat thing in the middle, the objects look pretty good too. Besides the odd overall dress the rest of the clothes are fine too (though most not for me).
EA has different teams working on the store/SPs/EPs anyway so it’s not like the store is taking away from EP production (cause if they weren’t doing the store then they would just be working on something else) at least we get updates for the game….
Seeing as they released washers and dryers for the store after Ambitions came out, I was rather hoping that they would offer some nice bunk beds and spiral staircases for those of us who do not want to bother with Generations.

Yay – stuff that clearly should’ve been in Generations, surgically removed and put up at full extra cost. No wonder Generations appeared light on content.
YES!!! Finally the recliner returns!!! Now we just need a functioning Grandfather Clock.
Maybe they should try being a customer for once: get a taste of their own medicine. 😛

Agreed! They look so old fashioned and ugly, who would ever want to download those, much less make them.
I agree that this stuff looks like it should have been in Generations, especially the living room furniture and the bedroom set. What a gyp.
But on the bright(er) side, there is a sale on at the Store today on some of the older sets of furniture, with most being offered for only 200 points. So, if you haven’t picked up some older sets and still want them, the savings are great, often ranging between 50% and 70%.
I really feel that they are now adding that recliner because I mentioned it on the forums. I was hoping to see it in an expansion though… it would have gone nicely with Generations.
