I have to say I am a bit disappointed at the audio commentary, simply because he didn’t do enough research into the product. Prime example: The “Heartbreaker” Lifetime Wish came with the base game, not Generations. Further than that, Generations is based around “living each life stage to the fullest,” not family. They added several items that players have been asking for; tons of new interactions as well. Also, sadly, playing as an Adult doesn’t give you the full access to everything. Children now have Imaginary Friends, for goodness’ sake! Teens and children can now be sent to boarding schools or do after-school activities. There are Bachelor(ette) Parties with dancers! The “Sim World” has broadened with this expansion and it saddens me to hear this commentary.

So, from somebody that loves The Sims franchise and has played since The Sims 1: Please, please, please do more research next time!

Well, I agree, but I am just watching the video, just for curiosity or kill the time:) However, the Sim, he created, should not be a daycare caregiver, period and the creator, himself as well! LOL!

Now, I get a little idea on how it works, and can’t wait to try that profession! Looks fun and challenge.

Only a few days left 🙂

He is in CAS, clicking on a lot of the NEW options, and says “Right now, I don’t see a lot of new things…” Um, HELLO? You just clicked on the body hair option, and breezed past it, and I saw some new clothing and hair as you rushed by… yet all he says is he’s “sure” they are there.

I had to stop right after that.

As far as standing out. This video doesn’t. Barely anything was shown and I had to fast forward my way through half the video because I was so bored,

I love how he reviewed Generations and only played a Young Adult sim. This is not a very good review in the slightest. Gave a bad wrap before he even left CAS.

This was great review of the Sims 3 base game.
As a generations review…not so much.

That tiny house is the worst possible location for a daycare. There was no real room for the children to play, nor were there any age-appropriate objects for those toddlers, like potties, high chairs and toddler toys. The creator of the video should just have used one of the pre-made houses from the bin, several of which are probably set up for families and/or daycares.

The Sim was also not a very good daycare provider since he didn’t do anything beyond the bare minimum. Toddlers can apparently be potty-trained and taught to walk and talk by their caregivers, so this was a missed opportunity. I’m very disappointed with this video.
