Well, I tried….kind of, anyhow. Below is my first attempt to do a video podcast, and it is awful. I have a problem of being recorded by a camera, I suppose a fear…dunno, but I’m going to work at it to try and overcome it. I always wanted to make videos, but this ‘fear’ pretty much didn’t allow me. I’m not the best public speaker in the world either (can’t pronounce words worth a dang) – or have charming looks. But hey, over time, maybe I can get better…well, except for the looks. Pretty much stuck with what I have in that department. But I suppose my goofyness will make you laugh, and if I can at least do that, then we’re getting somewhere.
Anyhow, here’s my ‘unscripted and pretty much unedited (okay, I added a few pics) first podcast. I have a lot to work to do, I know. Hopefully someday I can be at least as 1/4th as good as Lazy Game Reviews.
Here’s my first attempt at creating a podcast. It’s horrible – I know, I’m not used to being recorded and I am not a great public speaker. I hope time and practice can fix that.

It’s good man. I like your more “real” and relaxed style. Keep it up, you’ll get more confident, and it’ll get nice and simple and natural.

As someone who is very uncomfortable with eye-contact, I always find videos of any sort to be rather fascinating in a terror-inspiring type of way. This is the first time that I have not wanted or needed to duck for cover.
You are doing just fine! But I agree with thesimling—just make a list of future points of interest for right now. Feel your way cautiously, don’t get flustered, and above all, be yourself.

That was great!! 😀 You don’t need to script it, just maybe come up with a list of points you want to make. Your collection, you’ve never shown it like that before o.O It’s sooo big!! Maybe a bit more editing might be useful (there was quite a lot of gap, which you could just cut out a bit of!

I could understand you, see what was going on and didn’t get bored – that’s the *most* important stuff to me.
Like just about anything, it simply takes time and repetition and you’ll fall into whatever makes you the most comfortable. Hope to see more in the future, I’ve been wondering how a “Sims Watch” podcast of sorts from a true superfan like yourself could be!
