SimsVIP just posted the following bit of news. It appears that a swedish retail site Webhallen has posted the cover art as well as the product information on The Sims 3 Generations! It looks as if it will have a June 2011 release date. No exact time just yet (I suppose the May 10th date no longer applies)

It mentions “high school graduation” in the description. I’d love it if universities were back, but does that just mean they added an actual graduation for teens, not college?
Ah, @GizmonicInstitute – you’re correct. The pic though reminds me of the Sims 2 University coverart. I’m not used to seeing highschool graduations like that – one I had was super-lame.
Memories being back will be nice. But why would you need/want to share them on facebook?
One thing I hope we get in this one is collections, since Medieval had them, Though, they weren’t as nice as they were in The Sims 2.

I still think it may get a may released because of the fact that ea always released the new expansion pack every six months. So hopefully they really do keep it on a may released because we have been waiting to long for a new expansion pack.

Now that this is leaked, they HAVE to reveal the realise date/ confirm it’s happening on the 5th of April/tomorrow (Tuesday is usaly announcmeant day apparently so it makes sense).
Will be shocked if the announced something else instead of this, in fact I would almost bet on it.
Even through EA has yet to announce it, over at the official Sims 3 website, its beginning to look more and more like Generations is the real deal.
I hope this Addon is coming at May :/ .

I don’t know, but unless they mention university game play, specifically, we have no good reason to think they’ll add it.
This looks like a nice expansion, but most of the ‘new’ features really should’ve been added in the base game! And having high school reunions and not being able to go to college after is the dumbest thing! What are we suppose to do after we graduate?! The loss of college will be even more evident in this EP because we graduate from high school! They better have more in store or I’m going to be disappointed, as always! But, nice cover art!! 😀

If the chemistry set is back, like in Sims 1, maybe Frankenstein is the new creature, or a Dr. Jeckly and Mr. Hyde type monster. That’s probably wat the kid in the video in the dinosaur suit was imitating, lol.

Hmm, high school graduation is interesting. I’d still prefer something like University but whatever. Maybe it will be more than just a one-time thing and you’ll be able to actually enter schools. Somehow I doubt it.
Chemistry and memory tracking sound like a hits. I know a crapton of people have mentioned wanting those in TS3. I wonder if home movies will be like taking photos in WA?
I’m super excited! I love the home movies and now the important memories aspect is coming back! Maybe parties will be more exciting now!
