Unboxing The Sims Medieval Collector’s Edition

BeyondSims BeyondSims Author

Is The Sims Medieval Collector’s Edition really worth it?  Die hard Sim fans (like myself) think yeah, but others may get a different idea after viewing the following pics & video.  If you do happen to be interested in the Collector’s Edition, it is still available at GAME while supplies last, for roughly $70.

What’s the best price that people have found the standard edition for sale? I’d prefer to spend under 40 USD. I suppose this may mean that I have to wait for an EA Store sale.

Walmart & Target. I’d check the ads in the next coming week or so, they might have a special $10 off sale.

Well, I can’t find any difference because a got the limited edition on pre-order back on december 2010. I just spent 49.95 with one day delivery. The shipping was free. I am lucky that I got that promotion. Inside the box I got a code to unlock special items. My question is… Anyone can unlock special items in their games if I share the code? Well, I love the CAS.. The Sims have better options to create faces. They look more real than ever before.

    That’s a lot of paper. (http://www.simprograms.com/28919/ea-game-paper-manuals-so-long-farewell-auf-wiedersehen-goodbye/)

Notwithstanding it’s price, it looks really packed and awesome. Soundtrack CD and all : I wish that stuff was included in the Sims 3 Collectors edition ( what a rip-off that was. )

Asides, looks like you’ll have fun. Can’t wait to see the 69 Billion screen-shots you’ll come up with Jud.

    Good luck with Medieval !

I wonder if create-a-world works there too. Hmm.

I got the Sims Medieval Limited Edition, and it came with a code to unlock bonus items. I can’t find where to unlock them though. It says in the Options menu, but I don’t see it. Can anyone give me better directions? Thank you.

Once you have the game started, in Kindom mode hit F5 to bring up the options menu: save, quit, etc and there will be an option button for Redeem Code. I had to search for it, too. 🙂
