Update – Hell yes! You guys are amazing! I don’t know whom/how many of your donated, but we’ve reached $107.00 so far, surpassing our goal of 100. A huge – no, HUGE THANK YOU goes out to all of you that helped! *HUGS*

Talking a minute to step away from Sims to discuss a more important issue, multiple sclerosis.  If you’re a long-time reader of the site, then you may already know that I’m a part of an organization known as the Alabama Ghostbusters.  We are a bunch of geeks set out to do good in terms of raising money for various charities and putting a smile on people’s face (because let’s face it, everyone loves Ghostbusters).

I will be taking part this Saturday (March 19th) along with a few friends of mine to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in the Walk MS Event, and we could use your help in raising money!  We have a page set up in which you can donate (don’t let the high amounts scare you, you can enter amounts in intervals of $5 – its possible that it may accept other amounts, not sure exactly what the limit is).

Please help us reach our goal!

The number of people living with multiple sclerosis increases every hour of every day. This astonishing rate is not going to slow down, let alone stop, until we’ve found a cure. Research has made some incredible advances recently, but the world can still only offer disease management drugs and therapies to the 400,000 people living with MS in America.

We’ve formed a team for Walk MS because the National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research than any other private organization. In addition to supporting studies which hope to reveal the cause and course of the disease, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society also provides much needed education, programs, and services to everyone who is affected by MS – including the diagnosed, their friends and families, and the healthcare professionals who work with them.

Join the Alabama Ghostbusters as a walker or a volunteer! Make a donation online! Send in a check! There are so many ways to make a difference in the fight against MS, and it all begins right here.

We’re ready to help!

You know, spending all that dough at The Sims 3 Store could be put to better use 😉 I thank you for your assistance in this matter!

Just donated $10.00. Not much, but I’m a poor college student haha. What a great cause though! Good luck on the walk!
