So who here has $160 for Simpoints?!

BeyondSims BeyondSims Author

It has been brought to my attention by Jacqpinks that EA believes there is a huge number of us in the Sims community who are filthy rich.  Why would I say that?  Well, apparently EA has added a new bundle to the ‘Purchase Simpoints’ section in which you can pick up 16,000 Simpoints for the low, low, price of $160.  Yep, I didn’t stutter – one-hundred and sixty dollars.  Now I don’t know who you rich folks are that keep feeding EA’s wallet, but if you love giving away your money, I’d love to help take some off your hand.  😛  If you want to send $160 to me instead and actually have it be worth something, feel free to PayPal that donation along to Judhudson@knology.net.  I mean, I suppose it doesn’t hurt to ask, otherwise EA wouldn’t be adding this to their bundle plans…

That’s just crazy at how much they’re charging for 16,000 SimPoints!

With how expensive some of the stuff is on the store you could easily go through that 16,000 in a matter of 5 minutes or less.

£100 for Sims Store stuff?!?!? They have got to be joking, they can’t really believe people are going to cough this up?! I bet some idiots will though, and that’s what’s really sad!

    Wow… just wow!

And all they offer as a Free Gift is a measly 4 items?!

We are in a recession EA stop making it worse you idiots?!

More like £120 with VAT. That $160 doesn’t include taxes.

Clearly EA think there are plenty of sheep out there with more money than sense. Sadly, they might be proved correct.

Ahem. It sure as balls ain’t me!

I love how they basically call whoever buys that a sucker by including that chintzy free “gift set”. Ha. Yeah, that makes that $160 I just blew so much less of a hit to the wallet in my mind, right?
