What I can’t believe is that, we have 23 days until this is scheduled to release, and we have seen nothing? This one picture doesn’t even show anything, a guy painting and a girl lounging. Guess they felt press release pictures wouldn’t be necessary.

I’m taking this as a sign that they are focusing on the next expansion pack and hyping that up rather than this stuff pack. This seems to be very similar to what happened with Fast Lane and Late Night.

I’m taking this as a sign that they’ve cut funding to their Sims 3 marketing team. There was barely any hype for Late Night as well.

EA are being pathetic. Maxis were so much better with their stuff packs and expansions, and they gave us ltitle previews and hyped us up for it with loads of screenshots.

EA suck. The Sims 3 is a disaster. They need to fix it.

If everyone stopped buying The Sims games, EA would listen and do something.

They would just stop making sims games.

Daniel, why does the sims 3 suck? The hype does seem a bit low, but the actual game seems fine. Just like the sims 2, there are some EPs that I really like (like late night) and some I don’t really (like ambitions), but I still find the base game fun to play. I think it would be hard to get people to stop buying sims stuff.

If it’s about not bringing everything back from the sims 2, that was to be expected, like any game company, they want to spread out their releases to get more money in the long run. The sims 2 was just so barren when it was first released.
