Screens of items from ‘The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff’

BeyondSims BeyondSims Author

Looks like a few people have already received The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff pack a few days early.  Omnii over at the official Sims 3 forums posted a number of screens of various items from the pack.  Seeing as it’s the weekend, I may not have time to keep track of any new images that players will publish, so I urge you to check that thread out and keep an eye on various Sim fansites/forums in case others get the game.  I’ll try to squeeze back to the computer later and see if whats new when I get a chance!

Thanks to Wolfgurl685 for bringing this to my attention!

Wow! Great job, EA! They’ve put so many stuff in a stuff pack! And they look so beautiful!

It’s kind of meh for me. I like the hot tubs, the rock stereos, and outdoor kitchen… but all the french swirly-patterned objects are absolutely fugly. This SP doesn’t introduce anything that changes gameplay, from what I’ve observed in these screenshots… no surprises this time, I suppose.

    I don’t think I’ll buy it.

Also, I hate when they put in completely decorative objects like the non-functional lemonade carts and the bird cage. I was completely disappointed at the Romanza Ceremony’s inedible desserts.

ok….EA being lazy? I was only excited for The Forum: Outdoor Living and…..well…THE PATCH

Sunnysunnysuns: I agree entirely. It’s just poor game design not to keep certain properties of objects consistent. Small deco items should be inventory-portable. Edible objects should be… …edible.

Omnii, can you write to me, on e-mail?
Because I must talk with you ;]

Despite the objects not being interactive, and despite a seeming lack of objects, I do like the objects presented and they seem nice.

I’d rate this stuff pack 5/10 if my favourite stuff pack, Kitchen and Bathroom design, was 10/10.

Does this even add any new plants? One of the themes is garden terrace, so I would imagine they would add some new plants to create a garden. Hm.
