Darkspore’s official release date is March 29th

With February right around the corner, a number of fans looking forward to the release of Darkspore were pondering if Maxis’ newest game would be released for its February 1st date. Looks like things have been pushed back to allow them a little more time for beta testing and advertising the game.

Community Manager MaxisCactus has officially announced on the Darkspore forums that the game will be released on March 29th in North America, and in Europe and other countries on April 1st.

There’s been a lot of buzz on when the official release date for Darkspore will be. You’ve heard it here first.

Darkspore will be released in North America on March 29th, 2011 and in Europe on April 1st, 2011.

Can’t wait for the game to get into your hands. The countdown is getting closer and closer!
