While it’s not the best, its perhaps one of the highest rated Sim games for the DS in a long, long time. The Sims 3 for DS earned an overall ‘good’ score of 7.5 out of 10 from IGN!
The Sims 3 on the DS finally delivers an open-world god-sim experience, but it’s not without some minor frustrations. Karma powers don’t work nearly as well on the handheld as they do on consoles, but if you look at it as a bonus feature rather than an integral piece of the gameplay, it’s not a huge deal. If you’re looking for your Sims fix on the go, the third time is clearly the charm.
I think the DS has some neat ideas, but I much prefer the iphone/ipad version (ambitions) because it has almost all the features of the DS version and allows you to have a child. It also has much better graphics. I play the iphone game a lot on the go.
