I’ve had a number of emails in the past of people wanting to donate to SimPrograms as they found this site to be extremely useful. At those times, I’ve been reluctant to put up a donation button because this site does not require the need to run off of donations, and to be honest, I don’t really want to make money from it – that is why I have a job 🙂
Just recently, I’d figured that instead of accepting donations for myself, to put it towards a great cause and use them to help others. After all – helping others was a huge reason in establishing this site in the first place. On November 20th, my town will be holding a 3 mile ‘Give Thanks‘ walk to help raise money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Under the Alabama Ghostbusters organization, I along with my family, girlfriend and a few Ghostbuster friends will take part in this walk to help ‘bust’ cancer and to raise awareness.
We’ve set up a donation page with a goal to raise $100 for the foundation. I would love to surpass that amount, but any amount raised will be great for the Hospital. If you have a few dollars to spare, we would greatly appreciate it to donate under our group’s name. So please, if you wish to help out SimPrograms, please consider this option. Thanks a million!

It should be renamed to St. Jud
Good on you!
Come on, Jud! I love what you’re doing!
Awesome! I would gladly donate, but the site doesn’t have a PayPal option. Sorry, Jud D:
I find it really beautiful what you are doing.
I am an donator to many organizations that have a real meaning of why we should donate. Being able to help someone by donating is really grateful. Even more when we have people around us that does also.
I second Ashley, PayPal would be nice. :d
It makes me mad that there is no paypal option for such an organization. Probably because Paypal fees? (unless they let Charities slide)
But please, don’t let that stop you 🙂 $20 have already been donated from me – but for some reason, its not showing up on the graph (my bank statement shows it though).
Simprograms, EA Store Brazil put SimPoints 1.000 for only $ 2.00 (Somewhere around One Dollar). If you want to take a look:
