November, already?! Before you know it, it’d be time for Christmas! 2010 seemed like it has gone by too fast! In fact, I do believe that the newly released Sims 3 Late Night will be the last PC Sims game we will get this year. I hope you are all enjoying the latest expansion. I’m still waiting to find it for $30, I’m sure that it’ll drop down in price when Black Friday rolls around – hopefully sooner!
Anyhow, the poll results:
What new Sims game will you be picking up?
- Sims 3 Late Night (75%, 743 Votes)
- Both (10%, 101 Votes)
- Sims 3 for Console (9%, 91 Votes)
- None (6%, 57 Votes)
Did I even need to guess? Out of 992 voters, 75% of the site’s readers decided to pick Late Night, and rightfully so! Seeing as how its safe to say Late Night is the last Sims 3 game until next year, what do you think was the best add-on that was released thus far?
Looking at the current poll’s results now, I’m pretty surprised. I personally think Ambitions was much better than Late Night. I got lucky and got my Late Night for £17 in the UK 😀
According to their website, the Target in my area has it on sale for $29.99.
In that case, I’m hitting up Target this week – thanks for the info!
I’m actually surprised that anyone would say Ambitions or World Adventures was their favorite. They were kind of neat when I first played them but I flew through the new gameplay they added and was done with them by the end of the first weekend I had them. After that, I haven’t used the new stuff again and feel like I wasted my money on both. I do like Late Night because it gives the Sims fun stuff to do again but it still seems kind of like it’s lacking something. All in all though, it is the best EP so far.
I think that if The Sims 3 would have been originally released with all of the Late Night features, it would have blown EVERYONE away and no one would have ever even bothered to look back at The Sims 2. So, I believe (hope) EA may finally be on the right track with the series again.
Jud: You are most welcome, sir!

Then why even bother living?
A question I ask myself everyday… Forgive me, Chris, I’ve always been too pessimistic for my own good.
No need to ask for forgiveness, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion and honestly, I’ve asked myself that question too many times as well.
