The Sims team is holding a special event in the San Fransico area called The Sims Town Hall. They’ll be showing off both The Sims Medieval, The Sims 3 Late Night, The Sims 3 for Consoles and even sharing a little bit of information about some holiday goodies coming up for the month of December! The Sims Medieval Chat Transcript
During the Sims Town Hall event, producer Rachel Bernstein showed an interesting The Sims Medieval demo. The 3 related videos are here (30 minutes in total). For the ones that don’t have time to see all the videos or understand written English only, we transcribed the most important info and wrote down this article. We also put many pictures, so you can see what we are talking about.

For the ones that don’t have time to see all of them (it takes 40 minutes), I wrote down the most important info about the 3 games presented. There are tons of interesting info and I’m glad they answered to some questions I wrote and sent to them via email the past days, like the one about why they introduced Karma Powers in console version.

Just thought it might be of interest to some. Especially those that wish to ask questions etc.
There was definitely a lot of good info. I noticed, though that there was info that contradicted what EA was saying in other interviews, videos, etc. Like they apparently said at the Town Hall Event that vampires can be created in CAS, where earlier they had said that you couldn’t, that they’d have to get turned by a vampire in the town. Apparently the Murphy bed is back, when they’d previously said it wasn’t going to be. I know there’s at least one other thing that I can’t think of at the moment, too.
Disregard my first comment. Turns out the guy was lying, he wasn’t at the event at all. :/
So that’s why there were so many contradictions. I was really hoping for singers in the bands and the ability to create vampires in CAS, but I guess that won’t happen now. I thought something was fishy when he was saying stuff that EA themselves had said wasn’t true before. Why would someone do that? It sucks because I really wanted to create some pure blooded vampires, but I won’t be able to do that without being able to create vamps in CAS. They’ll all have to either be turned or be the kids of former humans, which isn’t anything close to a pure blooded vampire.
simfans tweeted that you can make a sim look like a vampire in Late Night in CAS by using the unlock outfits cheat. says there are vampire teeth that you can add to a sim. also said that bulding apartments is a little difficult.
I don’t think the console review was long enough. It was only 2 minutes and something and it look like it cut out early before Bell was thru talking.
