I’m not exactly too thrilled over the fact that these images were watermarked – takes the effect away from the logo in my opinion…but regardless Russian fansite Sim Secrets passed along their logos for The Sims 3 Late Night. Watermarked logos have been replaced with default logos – thanks GTNS!!!
If you want them without the watermark, here are the links: http://drh2.img.digitalriver.com/DRHM/Storefront/Company/ea/images/detail/feature/70733_936x287_RU.jpg

You just have to change the language code from the end of the URLs. 😉
I’m finding it curious that the EP’s name in each country means something completely different. For instance, the Russian title translates to “Twilight”; the Polish and Czech titles translate to “After Dark”, and the Dutch title translates to “After Midnight”.
Even the two Portuguese titles (Brazilian and Portuguese) are different: The Portuguese one translates to “Late Night”, but the Brazilian title means “Falling into the Night”.
Must be EA regionalising these titles like they did in the Sims 1 days where Livin’ Large everywhere else was renamed Livin’ It Up in the UK for no apparent reason, even though the expressions “living large” and “larging it” was widespread in the UK at the time.
I still think After Dark sounds like a better title than Late Night though.
You’re welcome, Jud!
uknortherner, I believe each country chooses their name, and they sometimes try not too make literal translations. For example, here in Portugal, Ambitions was renamed “Professional Ambitions”. P.S.: the Portuguese name for Late Night translates into “Through the Night”.
Yes, and Ambitions in the Russia title to “Career”.
It seems that Russian logo will be changed soon and will look like English variant.
Here is the answer from EA Russia that they had some problems with localisation, so they made it in other way just for now.
