This is no guarantee that this is the actual city from The Sims 3 Late Night, but it does pose a very interesting question on why and possibly what it may be. While looking in the fog in Twinbrook, SIMul8rReviews pointed out this area hidden way in the background. Thoughts?

Probably just a faux cityscape inserted in the distance to give some life to the town, but it could’ve been intended as a hint of things to come. It’s virtually certain though that it’s not supposed to actually be the city from Late Night.

It’s most likely a hint that LN was the next EP. It’s too much of a coincidence not to be.

Wow! I never even knew that. That’s pretty a excellent find. It is foreshawdowing that Late night was the next EP. Because if you look at the building closly you will see the building that looks the exact same in the late night video.
I think it’s just coincidence. Like in World Adventures, you can see the Eiffel Tower in France, far away near to the end of the map. In Egipt there’s a false camel, in the end of Nilo. In China, just a picture like or 2D image of the end of the River. Riverview has many false cows, one in the very end of the map. In The Sims 2 you could do it too, and you would see some buildings.
That same city is in Sunset Valley too. It’s nothing significant.
They always put some kind of hint in the games you just have to look hard. And love the old music from the first sims^^
