Those are not the screens and information you’re looking for
Sorry folks, had to take it down* – game is imaginary and non-existent at this time – you saw nothing, move along.
*At the request of EA, the game has not been officially announced

Huh?! Lol So I guess it is real but no one was suppose to post about it?
*at the request of EA, the game has been official unannounced* it should be, rather than “*at the request of EA, game has not been official announced*”
anyways, I feel drousy now
I guess Steve @ TSR won’t be getting any more EA invites.
LOOOL
Ha…your Jedi powers only work on the “weak-minded”! I will not “move along”! lol
😛
Oh darn…I posted this on the official forums…should I remove it? Will EA ban me? Eep…
oh thank god it not announced!
anyways i didnt like it!
I didn’t like the sound of it either. The fusion between communal sandbox creation/gameply with RPG elements is what makes the Sims series fun. You don’t remove the sandbox elements to strengthen the RPG ones, otherwise you lose you point of difference and your points of interest.
I thought it sounded poorly designed. Hope that the TSR preview was wrong.
Yep, sounded like crap anyway. 😛
Eeep! I showed this to a friend of a friend of a friend, that actually works for EA,
Here comes the 20th Century Fox email….
FAIL ;P
…but yea, the game looked like poo anyways.
That is what we call a horrible failure.
Haha, I took a snap of the site anyway.
I always do when these kind of news comes up. 😛
LAWL
This sounds like The Sims with RPG, fights, level ups, but without what makes The Sims “The Sims”….. which means…. it’s not The Sims anymore…. Just another generic RPG game. It would’ve been an awesome idea if they retained all of the simulation and architectural gameplay but set it in the medieval times. Quests, opportunities, no build mode, etc. just doesn’t interest me.
EA, what’s with you and turning our beloved simulations into generic crap? First, your ruin SimCity with SimCity Socieities, then Spore with DarkSpore, and now The Sims with The Sims Medieval?
WHY ARE YOU SHOOTING YOURSELVES IN THE FOOT!?
its still coming… DUH…… its just an EA coverup.
Was this for console or PC? Console would be better IMO.
Oh EA! What are you getting yourself into! The Sims Medieval is not a Sims game at all! It’s the farthest from it! RGP and NO building mode!!? Also having many restrictions! That is not a Sims game! Sims games are all about freedom and creativity and TS Medieval seems like something from a completely different company and franchise! We don’t want to be set on a path that we must follow, The Sims is all about creativity, so please scrap the RPG and stick to what makes The Sims the best game ever!!
Who’s “we”? I’m actually loving the RPG model The Sims frranchise is trying out right now.
“We” consists on a very large portion of the Sims community that mainly likes to create stuff and follow their own path of creativity and imagination! Keep in mind I did just say “we” and not “the entire Sims community”! So i didn’t mean everyone which means there are some people that are an exception, like you.
i like both action rpg, regular rpg, and creation so i’m pretty much good on what EA comes up with.
It’s worth pointing out that TSR’s “article” and screenshots were actually stolen from a British PC magazine called PC Format. How do I know this? Well, first of all, I have this month’s PC Format in front of me, complete with the four-page article (and screenshots) in question, and also, Coconut’s updated her blog covering TSR’s misdeeds.

PC Format/Future Publishing should sue these thieving bastards.
