The very first third Sims 3 expansion rumor may actually have merit after all – The Sims 3 After Dark. Of course, it’d need a few more backings from other retailers before we should actually believe it, but as of today it was added to Play.com for an estimated release day of October 29, 2010. That’s actually in line with the proper release dates of expansions. But as always, it is still a rumor so treat it like one. 🙂

Well, if this rumour is legit, then I assume it’s an expansion pack and not a stuff pack.

Oh God, I hope this rumor is true! My Sims are bored as hell with town life. I need some spice and what better way than to add a nightlife feature? I hope we get nightclubs, bars, bowling alleys, restaurants, and new locations, but not rabbit holes. Then we can have more pronounced dating. But there has to be more than what I listed because it’s still not enough for an EP. Maybe apartments? That’d be a wonderful combination. It could be more like a city EP.
not to be a butt, but it’s been a bit of a pattern where we find a listing of a rumored EP/SP and it turns out to be true. whether it takes a long time for them to admit it or not.
and im not counting the pets rumor, since it wasn’t a listing, it was a supposed mention in an article.
besides it would fit with the FAST LANE stuff pack – more flashy stuff to be all dark and rebellious. just sayin…… i dont have a valid connection between HES and Ambitions so that’s where i end my 2-cents.

So this is the Hot Date/Nightlife equivalent, or… is it more the bleak vampire thing? After Dark does have a vampire undertone, or… I dunno, I’m just hoping they don’t jump on any Twilight bandwagons with this I guess. 😛

Even though it would be great to see some actual car animations, we won’t eve see it. EA knows that it looks crappy and that we want to see it, but that isn’t going to change. They missed their chance really, because not only would they have to change the whole car animations, and driving animations, but they’d also have to change how you parked the car, the car animations themselves. Just a whole lot of stuff that EA doesn’t have the patience to do.

Alot of the info there is actually from SimPrograms. The page also exists to debunk the fakes once they’ve been exposed. Posting a rumor requires evidence, such as a screenshot or mention from a site.
Yep 🙂 BTW your ‘Hollywood’ rumor on that page if I do recall is actually just a torrent of Sims 3 downloads. Not sure if its the base game or just a compilation of downloaded items from the net based on hollywood actors, but I see it in my RSS feeds from time to time. 🙂

If this is the official title, then it has to be some sort of Nightlife and/or Hot Date style. The new creature still should be a vampire because it’s the only one that fits, or possibly a werewolf. But any other creature wouldn’t make sense, unless it’s a zombie, but… meh… I’d prefer vampires in that case. Besides, vampires are huge in today’s media market, so it only would make sense for EA to cash in on the craze. Cashing in is not something foreign to them, so why not? 😉
I can also confirm that Game UK have this EP on their list. They asked if I wanted to preorder it when I was in the store (they know I’m an addict), anyway he went in to see if it could be preordered and it isn’t ready for that yet, though it is on their list. I thought he said November but I could well be wrong, still I know it’s on the cards for the end of the year. Not on the game UK website yet though
I think the hole expansion might just be like a monster movie with vampires, zombies, werwolves and other stuff like that. But the rumor might not be
true……….. or it might just be the BEST GAME EVA!!!!!!!!
