Duskey over at The Sims Wiki passed along a link to a French Sims 3 fansite that posted what appears to be a German Late Night expansion logo. I’m just a tad skeptical considering that it’s coming from a French fansite and not reported by some of the biggest German fansites (i.e. SimFans and SimTimes)…but I do know that if you have good connections with EA Community Managers, they will send goodies like this to certain individuals from time to time.
I think we’ll find out this week if this is indeed our new logo 🙂
Update – wow, guys, I’m completely sorry…my brain has totally left my head. Guess I’m just so completely focused on a house at the moment…thanks to all the folks that pointed out the logo was created by My Sims 2 World! Looks like next time I’ll strictly stick to official confirmations. You never know what people will create and twist and turn things into.
If it is real, I’m not sure if I like it. It just seems to plain for an expansion that is supposed to be about excitement and fun. I guess time will tell.
Haha, actually I just remembered a logo I had made for that “Sims on Campus” contest they had a while ago for different college campuses to win a Sims laptop.

i compared it with the sims 3 ambitions and the sims 3 world adventures – german logos. not looks similar to the other…
@ James S. : The official german name of the game is (this time) the same as the original english – “Late Night”

If you look how the “Late Night” font. I would think that they would manipulate it so it wouldn’t be jutting out from underneath the S. But other than that it looks like it could be legit. Have to wait and see.
I do like the font of LATE NIGHT. It’s very neon-club-sign-esque. 🙂

I also made a logo for an expansion called City Life too haha. I made a thread on the official forums last July I think where I listed a detailed explanation of what I wanted in an EP such as this, and so far I’m almost spot on apart from the whole apartments thing that I’m not so sure what’s happening with.

They aren’t invite to special event or whatever. So about what they’re publishing it’s only info founded on the Internet (German SimSites, Wiki, EA Press, etc.). Nothing come from the French Community to them 😉
