It makes me feel a little ill that people spend money at the store. Some players who like my creations send me gifts, and I’m always torn between liking the gesture and new items, and wanting to shout ‘NO STOP! DON’T ENCOURAGE EA!’ The only excuse I have to take them is that I can’t refuse them, and I figure in the end it means I can make bigger and better worlds with more variety for people to play with.
I still haven’t and I do not plan to spend any of my money at EA Store – all I did was use the free points that came with games. But event that they stopped doing, so… I can do without fine without their store items – can they do fine without our money?
I’ve still got 850 points left that came with the base game. There really isn’t anything on the store worth spending the points on, and I’m not even remotely interested in gimmicks like avatars and silly badges for the forums since I try my best not to bother with the BBS.
The fact is, this store crap should’ve been in the game and EPs.
