EA’s The Sims Studio is putting the power of pattern creation directly into The Sims 3 players’ hands! Available this summer as a free download on www.TheSims3.com, The Sims 3 Create a Pattern Tool allows players to create and share their own original patterns. Registered The Sims 3 players will be able to design a pattern easily, whether simple or elaborate, using dozens of images available in the Sticker Library or layer and modify their own images to create any pattern their heart desires. So we’ll be able to apply patterns to ceilings now? Or is this something we could always do in TS3 and I’m just clueless?
Must be a new feature. We’ve never been able to do that in TS3. If it’s a real feature then finally I can have black ceilings to go with my black walls and floors!

Guys think about it Summer <<<< – What's big and happening in Summer? TS3 Ambitions and that new update… Maybe ceilings is a part of that update or part of TS3 Ambitions
Does anyone know if this tool will be PC-only like the CAW Beta? I have a Mac and I’d hate to be deprived of all the shiny add-ons. 🙁

I have a mac too but I play sims via bootcamp in windows 7, runs so much better!
