Wow, I love the look of the new Love & Sports set they’ve released.  That may warrant me to finally spend my Simpoints.

They still haven’t sorted the prices I see. Well…I have to admit the pricing for the first set is okay…

    But £14 for 20 items!?
And then another £7 for the second half of the set?

So thats… £21 for 32 items? What the heck?! High end loft stuff contained 60 new items and that was only £9! :S

In fact…no the first set is not reasenoble at all. You can only buy simpoints in 1000’s so thats still £7… :S

Wait Sorry, I’m wrong about it costing £21, it would just cost £14. Though its still a ripoff. lol Sorry. 🙂

Yeah that’s one of the pics that that poor man lost his job over, nice find…….

These sets are all really great! Now I just need some simpoints…..

Actually, it works out at about £7 for 20 items.

    1000 UK simpoints = £6.

I have 1000 SimPoints, but i don’t wanna lose it with just some objects, i’ll wait for other expasions to get more simpoints.

Actuelly Connor 1000 points = £7 now. They raised the price.

Nope, it costs £6 at my local retailers.

I’m sorry but it’s still overpriced.  I would support a payable store option if the prices were lowered.  I’m not against having to buy stuff, it’s just that it’s overpriced.  Why not make each item between 10 and 25 cents?  At least it will resemble the pricing system of an SP (though, 35 cents multiplied by 60 items is actually $21).  Either way, it shouldn’t be more than 35 cents per item and that’s pushing.  I am sure many more Simmers would shop at the store if the prices were lowered.  Besides, many items have been broken, so why not?

I wish they would lower it to .10-.25 cents. I’d actually praise them for a change. I get that in these times, you gotta pay for content, but I disagree with the whole pricing of things.

I agree with frankie, and especially so because we do not receive hardcopies of these items. This means there are no production costs of the physical discs, no transportation costs, no slotting fees, etc. Sure, it costs money for bandwidth and website maintenance, but I highly doubt their costs exceed that of actually producing physical discs to justify the increased prices.

I’m glad I’m not the only one about the pricing system.  I just wish that there were far more of us so that we can make a difference.  🙁

Sadly connor, Thats only from retailers. On the official UK sims 3 store site simpoints cost £7 now.
And seeing that my local game shop doesn’t stock simpoint cards…I have to pay the increased price.

I really don’t understand why EA raised the prices…and why on earth did they remove the option to buy simpoints in 500 point bundles?!
