I was hoping they’d ask about the broken lighting or the crashing issues that they need to fix. The lighting has been messed up since WA and lots of people get the same crashes I get. I’m talking about the one where the game will just close out of nowhere, with no error message, but if you look in the exception text, it’s always the same error: ACCESS_VIOLATION writing address 0x00000000. The numbers can vary, but it’s all the same cause. The game is trying to access memory that’s reserved for the OS, resulting in a crash. This is something EA can fix, but they haven’t yet. They won’t even acknowledge it. Same goes with the lighting issues. I guess they think if they ignore it, it will go away. I would have asked about both things if I could talk to him or anyone else on the Sims team.
