Will Wright to speak at Defense Gametech 2010

When you think about the military, you think of Will Wright, right? No, no you don’t so it’s a little difficult for me to grasp that he’ll be showing up to speak at the Defense GameTech 2010 Conference. GameTech revolves around gaming technologies that enhance warfighter training. I do understand that he’s showing up due to the ‘games’ tie-in, but in my opinion I think it would be better suited if one of the developers from the Call of Duty franchise spoke instead.

Regardless, those who attend will end up hearing one heck of a cool presentation. Wright will be joined with other guests including General John Mattis (Commander of Joint Forces Command), Major General Melvin Spiese (Commander, USMC Training and Education Command) and Mr. Larry Johnson (CEO of the New Media Consortium).  It will be held March 29th thru the 31st at the Orlando Hilton in Florida.
