Gotta make this one quick…The Create-A-World Tool beta can now be downloaded (it’s free, so ignore the ‘order’ text on the button) at the official Sims 3 site! Sucks that I have to be stranded here at work, but I’ll get to it sometime tonight and will start on my guide right away!

Tool is filled with bugs everywhere, and no support is up as of yet. If you know what you’re doing dive on in. Otherwise i would wait for a guide.
Trying to edit in game simply crashes my game.

I haven’t had time to fool with it yet since I’m still at work. I’m used to using Dreamscape and other world editors as an animator. So hopefully the curve won’t be too steep for me >_<

Finally, it’s here! Tracy, if I do find Veronaville or even any other Sims 2 neighborhood, I will post it here for sure, unless Jud beats me to it. I’m definitely going to try this tool tonight and see what it is like and if it is worth the hype (which seems like it could be). 🙂

I can’t download it from http://www.thesims3.com/game/tools/world. Im loged in but when I click agree and click on Download, a small X button shows up and nothing else loads. Lower left corner of the window shows its done loading.
Plz give me another link to download the 1.9.16 vertion or better.

@Judhudson its said You currently installed version of the game is not compatible with Create-a-World. You must reinstall Create-a-World. First, back up your world files and uninstall Create-a-World. Then, download the new version of create a world and install the new version.

er, still not working.
What version of the game do you have? Is your game updated to the latest version? You did uninstall CAW instead of installing the newer version over the old one, right?
If you have the latest patches installed and you answered yes to the last question, you may want to hit up technical support as something is messed up (I’m thinking an old registry entry maybe).

I can’t get the recent update of CAW because 1, the sims page keep showing error and 2, the program freezes while loading. I really wanted to try creating a world again too. 🙁

cant open create a world as it says my game update isnt compatible.
i dont have internet access on the computer i play the sims on so ive had to download all updates off my laptop with internet, put them onto a memory stick and then transfer it to the other computer – as far as im aware i have the latest update 1.4.6 i think?
