Hope everyone had a fantastic time during the holiday season! I can’t say I scored much of anything Sims/Spore related – when you just about have it all there isn’t much left to get! Let’s take a look back at our last poll and view the results for the question ‘Do you hate it when people insult ‘The Sims’ games when they dont understand it.’
- Yes, it’s very annoying (75%, 377 Votes)
- Meh, doesn’t bother me (25%, 124 Votes)
377 Votes…can’t believe there are so many people out there who do not understand the game. What’s there not to understand? It’s fun and entertaining. Just because it doesn’t involve some shoot-er-up or platforming doesn’t make it out to be a strange game. :/
This week’s question. What is your favorite Sims series of the decade: The Sims 1, The Sims 2 or The Sims 3? Vote now!
Oh god Jud this is hard…. It would be between TS2 and 3 for sure (TS1’s out because I played that very briefly compared to the others)
I have no clue their both so good and TS3 is just beginning after all so it’s hard to judge…..
Since it’s just for the decade I guess I’ll go with TS2…..
To me it’s not a hard choice, but there are a lot of youngsters playing The Sims 2 and now The Sims 3 and for them those are the ones they know and adore the best.
I can’t seem to let go of the idea of perfection that is The Sims, or should I say “Dollhouse”, he he!
I’m a big fan of the series, been playing it since the concept appeared on shelves. They all are great, in The Sims 2 lots of things changed and now The Sims 3 is a totally different creation, not forgetting it’s basis of course…
🙂
Sims 1 all the way for me 🙂
This is a toughy :p I spent almost all my free time playing The Sims 1, Sims 2 had so many expansion/stuff packs and Sims 3 is introducing more ‘game-like’ gameplay with the opportunities etc…
Well, I agree that it is a bit hard to choose. Sims 1 was the one who got my attention years ago. I can’t remember where or how I know about Sims. I probably read about it online, and then went to the store to buy it. I realized that there were some expansions for it. I then got them too. I think I got Sims 1 a bit late because there were about two expansions available to get after Sims 1.
After that, I was excited about Sims 2 because it was a bit different than Sims 1. Of course, I got Sims 2 and its expansions. After that, I got Sims 3 because I really enjoyed playing and exploring Sims 1 and 2. I felt like I have to get Sims merchandises.
If Sims 4 is in the process of being making, I would definitely get that one too:)
