It was reported last month that The Sims Team is believed to be working on the first Stuff Pack, currently known as The Sims 3 Modern Loft Stuff. SimWay pointed out that Amazon.fr has added a description for this new pack. Below is the description translated to English:
Your Sims can now afford lofts. With The Sims 3 – Modern Loft Stuff , you can give your Sims the loft of their dreams! With The Sims 3 – Modern Loft Stuff, you can give your Sims the loft of their dreams! Great Room Designs, high Ceilings in Rooms, bathroom trends, your Sims will swim in happiness! So yeah, as soon as World Adventures hits, I’m pretty sure we’ll see something very soon about this first Stuff Pack. As of now, it’s set for a Feb. 2, 2010 release date. And for those speculating – please note that this is usually how the upcoming games are first known and Amazon usually doesn’t deal with rumours but rather what is provided to them by EA PR. 🙂
It sounds great for a Stuff Pack because it’s a useful theme. Hopefully the items will be very nice. I hope it’s still $20 like typical prices for SP’s and I hope it doesn’t end up being $30 with another silly SimPoints “deal.” I prefer SP’s over the Store anyday. The Store is only good for free items or previous EP’s to sell items individually at a much cheaper price, and even then I don’t like the Store overall. Oh well; it is what it is, I guess.
It better well be $20. If I see it at $30 they’ll have hell on their hands.
EA reported second quarter, but don’t mention sale of Sims 3 🙁

I suspect it will be 30$, More than likely this will be a much bigger SP than previous ones or they would have just put it in the store
Yeah, because their new excuse to charge $10 more for Sims 3 packs is because they are now packed with extra stuff. Funny how when fans complained about the lack of stuck in packs, they didn’t mean that they wanted to pay $10 more with extra stuff, they meant that for the same price the packs should have more stuff. If they keep this up, I guess I won’t be able to buy all their packs like I did with the past two games. It gets expensive and with $10 extra, it tends to add up quickly. For Sims 2 base game + all packs = $470. I wonder how much it will be for Sims 3 all together if there will be at least 9 SP’s and 8 EP’s. Okay, it’d equal to $640, I just calculated. Yikes!
if you check the gamestop website preorder is $20 and garnteed if preordered oh i cant wait the computer looks cute and i saw the corner tub in the bathroom i want it now and i havent even finished exploting everything yet on WA’s
