With only a few days after release, GameStop discovered a lamppost knocked over, taking out their main display window. Without a doubt, they speculate this to be the cause of sim fans due to the constant returns and complaints about the latest Sims 3 Patch and the new Sims 3 World Adventures expansion. The culprits manage to get away and police stopped investigation as they too completely understand the simmers feelings. Word did get out that the chief of police stated it was the wrong window to smash. No word on whether or not the EA Headquarters have any smashed windows.*
*This story is false – no Sim fans were involved or any ticked off gamer for that matter. It appears that a delievery truck accidently knocked over the lamppost according to this article. Whoops!
Ha, ha!
I was imagining 5 or 6 people climbing the lamp post. If the intention was to break the window, a simple rock would do the trick.
🙂
awesome ::thumbs up::
LOL, this was too funny! Good one, Jud! 🙂
LOL Would’ve been funny if it was a Sims fan who got annoyed at there game so decided to smash their game shops window *hmm good idea! Runs to GAME*
Very funny! If it is actually true, then it is a bit extreme for them to do that. It is more likely the car hit the lamp post and the lamp then smashed the window.
Read the note after the * on the true story of what happened 🙂
