HAR 2009 – Don Hopkins talks on Micropolis

Things you should know before watching the video:

• Don Hopkins worked with Will Wright and the original Sims, creating The Sims Transmogrifier, the famous object-creation tool.
• He persuaded EA into releasing the original SimCity as an open source project, but could not gain the rights of using the actual name, thus labeling it ‘Micropolis’
• He just recently was invited by Will Wright to join the Stupid Fun Club, so you’ll be hearing more from him in the future (welcome back, Don)
