We all are entitled to our own opinion, and I’d like to post that of Sai’s Asylum. They aren’t too pleased with the direction The Sims 3 is heading with the World Adventures expansion pack. EA seems to be off to a bad start taking the game in a completely different route. I do understand how fans would like to see other things for the 1st expansion pack – weather, businesses, pets…but all of those ideas have been done before. It reminds me of the old saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. I for one welcome the change in the series. There is only so many times the same old ideas can repeat themselves…yes, we will be getting weather and pets…but for the most part don’t you agree that the series needs something fresh? What else do you think they could of done to incorporate a new idea and still give us a few things that we want the most?

The Sims should stay simple. You have a Sim, or Sim family, and you have them live their lives in an exaggerated, cartoony and often hilarious manner. You focus on their interactions with each other, advancing their careers etc. So instead of over-complicating the gameplay like this can’t we just enhance what’s already there? More traits. More objects to interact with. More careers. That’s all we need.
