Spore Creature Locator (aka Rednecks don’t play Spore)

I’ve been in awe for the past 20 minutes watching Spore’s latest work, the Spore Creature Locator!  This nifty online app will show you the locations of fellow Spore fans and will display what creature they have currently uploaded.  Don’t be paranoid, the map isn’t that precise – you can’t zoom so you can only go by the state and possibly the closest city.  After my time spent watching this, I did notice that not once a creature was uploaded from my state of Alabama.  Hmmmm…This finally looks like the proof that I’ve been looking for – rednecks do not play Spore.  Either they do not know what a computer is, or the game reminds them of that time they were abducted out of their pickup truck to be an anal-probed victim.  I’ll be sure to ask Bubba and Billy Bob about that at our next family reunion 😛
