Guide to exporting Spore Creatures to use with Blender

Don’t have Maya?  Many of us don’t…so what are we to do?!?  Well with the help of scozdawg, KCDJedi, MaxisEditorDan, and MaxisChecker, Spore fan Eochaid1701 wrote a tutorial to turn your exported Spore Creature Collada (.dae) file into a Wavefront .obj and/or 3DS Max .3ds file for use in Blender.
