Corey Freeman wrote another ‘outstanding’ post that lists 5 life lessons that you can pick up from playing The Sims 3. The advice he listed is actually pretty useful although most of it could be picked up if you have common sense (in which I seem to be missing 😛 )
If you’re a workaholic, get ahead by putting in hard overtime at the office and at home. If you happen to be lucky, then take every opportunity with a “leap before looking” feeling. If you’re flirty, then go out there and score with the ladies. The sims frequently exploit and take advantage of their traits and the traits of others, so why shouldn’t you? If you have a client that enjoys flattery, why not sprinkle some on top? If you’re blogging buddy is a workaholic, ask him to handle some hard core tasks you can’t manage on your own. If you know the blogger you want to interview is a genius, talk about computers. Learn to discover and use your strong traits and the traits of others to further yourself.
Outstanding Writer – 5 more priceless writing lessons from The Sims 3
Thanks for the link back! It’s been sending some awesome traffic to my website. I love the Sims so I’m glad you get some stuff out of my common sense, which is usually lacking as well, haha.
It’s a little bit obvious. But don’t forget that in real life we don’t have 5 traits or 3 things we like. The game is still an abstract version of what we see around us, people I know tend to gossip more than my Sims.
