5 Insanely Valuable Writing Lessons from The Sims 3

Sometimes I wished I could find my own ‘Lifetime Achievement’…I don’t think there is a ‘slacker’ one, because if so, I’d gladly accept that role.  😛  Anyhow, a new article popped up titled 5 Insanely Valuable Writing Lessons from The Sims 3 which..well gives you five tips to pull your Sim thru their goals to achieve their Lifetime Wishes!

3) Take Advantage of Opportunities

When Arther’s friend Monika called him up asking for a biography to be written, my little sim stepped up to the challenge. His reward? A thousand simoleons, a new hit novel, and an improved relationship with someone “on the inside.” When the publishing company asked him for a romance novel, he got it to them and earned a bonus, a raise, and had a best seller that brought in $554 in royalties each week! The lesson here? Take advantage of opportunities life throws at you, and don’t be afraid of networking. Get your name out there, even to one person, and be prepared when your number is called!
