TheSims3.com has published information on The Sims 3 Creator’s Camp that was held back in January. Each week, they will bring to us two new creator profiles and share with us the items that they created.
This week marks Week #9 and it’s update is with machinima artists Decorgal and BaconandEggzie.
Decorgal is known in The Sims community for creating movies using The Sims 2. During the Creators’ Camp in January, she was one of the first players to get her hands on the game and the new Movie Tool that will be available on TheSims3.com when the game ships in June.
When asked what aspects of the game she enjoyed the most while playing The Sims 3, Decorgal named the improved lighting and freedom of movement with the new camera as the features that really stood out. Decorgal’s favorite piece of machinima that she created at the camp was a movie called Rejection for Two. You can see all of the content she created for the camp on The Exchange in June.
During the Creators’ Camp, Baconandeggzie was able to explore The Sims 3 Movie Tool and create machinima for The Exchange. His favorite movie “Morning Run” takes the viewer on a morning chase through Sunset Valley.
His favorite new feature from The Sims 3 is the Personality Trait system which allows him to create detailed characters for his movies. You can check out Baconandeggzie’s creations when The Exchange goes live in June.
