Downtown on Spore.com today; Multiple screen names per account coming

The feature many of us has been waiting for (especially those with families and has to share the PC), multiple screen names will start to take effect today!  That’s right, MaxisCactus posted a message at the Sporums letting players know that the official Spore website will be down for a few hours while they implement the system.

The site will be down for two hours so we can add a feature that includes multiple screen names for accounts. Thanks for your patience during this period.

While we’re down, you will not be able to log into the game, but the forums will remain accessible. Once we’re back up, more info will be posted about how multiple screen names will work.
