More news of Spore branching into various games

In a recent article from Yahoo! News, Will discusses how he received help from scientist and how the game takes science from all sorts of fields (physics, chemistry, biology, sociology, and astronomy).  He also brings up a discussion on user-generated content and how it is possible we might see Sporepedia help generate content in other Spore games:

When it comes to all of the user-generated creativity, Wright’s already looking into new ways to utilize this content.

“We’re exploring using these databases to populate other games, where we might have all of the vehicles from the vehicle editor used in a different game under the Spore umbrella that’s a very different experience than Spore,” said Wright.
