Yeah, I didn’t believe it until I watched the interview myself. Sporegasm (don’t worry, it’s a clean Spore fansite) was lucky enough to interview the head of the Sims Division, Rod Humble, to see if Spore would somehow be connected with The Sims 3. And to my surprise, this is what was said:
Are there any connections between The Sims 3 and Spore like there was with The Sims 2 and SimCity 4?
Rod Humble: We are hard at work with the Will Wright’s team trying to incorporate a few aspects from Spore into The Sims 3. For example, when you take a creature’s snapshot in Spore, you will have the ability to purchase customized shirts of your creature from the clothes shop in The Sims 3.

Where the heck is the video? I understand it’s April Fool’s Day but something like this is not funny. I don’t care to watch a preppy man who cannot dance to such an annoying song. Please post the real video unless this is all a scam and there really was no video. Snooty would never do this to us and I was hoping you wouldn’t either. 🙁
Let me explain…Today is April Fools day, the one day a year to pull pranks – I’m not going to miss out on this oppurtunity. 🙂

So, in other words, everything about Sims 3 with Spore is false?
Yep, all fake . Perhaps Maxis has plans for their own idea in the future. Which actually would be pretty cool if they did something like that.
