1Up.com is the first to break the news on the 3rd update for SimCity Societies. This much needed update promises to fix performance issues as well as including other additions. You can check out the article below, but here are the fine points:

• New Disaster – UFO Attack!
• Easy assist for calling firefighters when fire breaks out
• Buildings will be sortable by function
