The first review for The Sims 3 on Consoles has been published, the excerpt below comes from MTV Multiplayer and this is part of their verdict:
This console version is not the best. The game looks, feels, and plays like a port of a year-old game that was built specifically for the PC. If you’re looking for a hearty console life simulation game that is less a sandbox and much more goal-oriented, I say go for “The Sims 3,” but just be aware that it’s cumbersome and nowhere near as fluid as the PC version.
The console game will never be on par with the PC version, but for those that can’t play the PC game, or just fancy a change of scene from their desk to the sofa, it’s a near perfect substitute. I am expecting most reviews to be like this.
That’s why I don’t bother with the console versions. That, and the fact that I can’t play my game without CC and especially AwesomeMod.
