If you recalled a few months ago, EA published a boxart of The Sims 3 and many fans were unhappy with the way it looked with a hip “adult/sexual” theme. Well, today they have released a redesign of what we will be getting. I present to you the new Sims 3 boxart (I myself wish they would of kept the old design, this looks horrid in my opinion):

The cleavage cover is the old one. The new one is just horrible. Actually, the cleavage one isn’t even as bad as the Sims 2 cover. At least this guy isn’t practically grabbing them.
Ohmygod, dat word dus de cover? Ik had ‘m leuker verwacht, dit is niet echt dat je denkt van; wooww, wat leuk ofzo! Maar, voor de rest; de sims 3 is lijkt me echt gewoon super, dat kan je niet ontkennen. De sims 2 was al geweldig, de sims 1 ook! Maar toch; als je de de sims met de sims 2 vergelijkt is de sims 1 echt een mwa, vind ik. De sims 2 is, dacht ik, echt alles van wat je in een game als dit kunt bedenken, maar als ik zo de sims 3 zie, is de sims 2 ook een mwah, haha. Misschien wisten jullie het al lang, maar ik vertel het toch maar ff (voor degenen die het nog niet zo door hadden) de sims 3 komt helaas niet meer in februari uit, zoals gezegd was. Het word weer eens uitgesteld (net als sims 2) en het gaat nu verplaatst worden naar 4/5 juni 2009, adios! xx, van marjolein ;’)
The top one is alright but the bottom is just 100% better
^I agree, the bottom one should be the official cover, though I like the top one, but there’s some sims I wanna take off, like that sim-guy/girl that shouting in the bottom right corner, that’s just…….disturbing and scary and reminds me of Chris Crocker >x<

I love the new one, but EVERYONE else hates it! I think it’s so cool!
I love the top one!!! It’s way more interesting to look at. The bottom one is just kinda boring and would definitely steer parents away from buying it for their kids.
The old is not the best it could be but compared to the new one it is awesome!!
The new one is horrible…let’s hope that they will change it……this time for the better!!!!!

what’s wrong with the new cover?? like seriously? it’s really cool and totally original. I literally can’t even understand why anyone could hate it- btw it’s JUST a cover… the game is what I’ll be testing for quality.
I think I prefer the older one, even though the huge cleavage and all. I mean, sure the sickos will probably enjoy customizing the boobs and all, but it looks, well, nice and fun =) heh =)
