Well, looks as if I was wrong in the podcast from yesterday.  EA/Maxis published an official statement that The Sims 3 has been delayed until June 2nd, 2009.  While it’s a pain for most simmers, it’s actually good news for me as it’ll be my birthday treat (June 5th)!

Four letters could sum up my thoughts on this. Not saying which 4 letters but I’m sure many people are using the same ones right now.

i was really looking forward to this game. I probably won’t get it anymore, as I was only going to be playing in the first half of the year, as I will be travelling and working a lot after the beginning of June. Shame……

I’m getting great amusement out of the whining people are doing on other sites. Oh, Sims fandom, you do amuse me so. 😉

On the delay.. not surprising, since they were cutting it awfully close to release without a ‘gone gold’ announcement. It’s only a couple months. Better June than September or later.
