SimCity Societies Destinations to cost….more than it should

SimCity Societies Destinations is gearing up to be released next Tuesday, June 24.  Unforunately, it will not be sold in stores as a stand-alone expansion pack.  It will be available in The SimCity Box along with SimCity Societies, SimCity 4 and The Sims Carnival:  Snap City for $39.95.

The game will, however, be available for digital distribution (boo) at the EA Store for a whopping $29.99.  While I usually agree with pricing expansions at that price, I don’t think Destinations deserves it.  In fact, I can walk into my local Circuit City and pick up the base game for $19.99!
