The Wii is capable of much better graphics than that. You just need to look at the Mario titles, even if they probably are less demanding on the console in other ways.
I strongly suspect they’re guilty of the same thing many Wii developers are: Not bothering to make the Wii game as good as it could easily be.
Be that as it may, you have to remember that this game is rendering an entire town in real time and has to render a bunch of different Sims at once, whereas Mario Galaxy was rendering smaller planets with 2D backgrounds.
Regardless, it still looks better that what I was expecting, especially compared to The Sims 2 console port’s graphics. I’ll probably buy this down the line when it drops in price.

This version sounds better than the Xbox or the PlayStation version. It seems more interactive.
It looks like it has more features too, or some features that the other games don’t have.

i don’t like the direct control thing. so strange seeing a sim being controlled like it’s a third person rpg game.
