Great post — this is what I’ve been waiting for. I own an Intel iMac with 3GB RAM and the X1600. Looks like it’ll run Sims 3. I still want to build a new PC for the other games I play, though.
Why?? I want can’t play because I don’t have Mac OS X 10.5.7 Leopard or higher, I have 10.5.5
I suppose I’ll never get it 🙁
About Mac OS X 10.5.7 – it’s not out for the public yet, but it should be a free upgrade for you guys, and should most certainly be out by the time The Sims 3 is released. I believe the game will indeed work with lower versions of the OS, it’s just that 10.5.7 was the only Mac Operating System they had to test the game on.
Mac OS 10.5.7 is only released to various computer developers at this time, it should have a public release sometime this month.
I’m so excited for the release! I was bummed for the longest time because I figured the mac version wouldn’t be out for ages after the pc version was release, and then recently found it was released the same day! Great to know my mac can support it 🙂
Damn. Once again scuppered by an integrated GMA 950 graphics card.
CURSE YOU INTELLLLLLL!!
Oh man i hope it works on lower versions of mac because i don’t have 10.5.7 but 10.4.11 :S
I thought Mac users can update to the latest OS for free?
ug i have mac os x 10.5.6!!
is the 8600 GT the same as the 8600M GT? If i have that, with 256 MB, everything else and 2 GB of RAM, do you think everything will be ok? Are these RECOMMENDED or REQUIRED?
It doesn’t have the exact same specs, but it’s close. You’ll be good with that graphics chipset. And the specs are the minimum requirements. 🙂
Yes! I can definitely run Sims 3 on my mac 😀
i have a powerbook g4 with leopard, so will sims 3 like not work at all on my computer?
You’ll need an Intel core to run a Cider-ised game.
Sorry :/
–K
For those of you still on 10.5.6 or 10.5.5… 10.5.7 is out and free. Simply go to the apple icon in the apple menu and click Software Update.
what if i only have 1gb of memoryy? will it still run?
It may, but you’d probably wish you’d have more RAM as it could lag to the point it may be unplayable.
“This game will not run on Mac systems with processor PowerPC (G3/G4/G5) or video cards with integrated GMA 950 series.”
Im not happy my macbook has a GMA 950
I have a macbook
2 GB ram
9400 M
3 mb cache
10.5.7 OS X
Intel 2 core duo
my question is: will sims 3 make my brand new computer slow?
Lacey, your machine meets the Specs (well, assuming the Core 2 Duo is rated above 1.8Ghz that is)
will 128 mb of video memory definitely run it??
other specs are
2GB of memory
ATI Radeon HD2400
128 mb of VRAm
250 GB hard drive space and 2 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo
am i good???
Great post, still worried bout my Intel GMA X3100 though.
Think it might run way slower.
By the way, as far as I can see, it will not run on Tiger at all. The installer doesn’t even budge 🙁
Don’t worry, anyone who has 10.5.6, or similar. I had the same, but I did the complete system update and now it is 10.5.7… it only took 5 minutes. Go to the apple menu, hit ‘about this mac’, then software update.
Good luck! I personally can’t wait to play the game, and am praying that it runs smoothly. I’m new to macs; this is my first mac (a macbook). It meets all the requirements, so hopefully all will go well.
I have a White Macbook 10.4.11, is there anyway I can play the Sims 3??? Cuz June 2nd was my birthday and I got it from my parents..but now I cant seem to get to it work… 🙁 pleeaasee help!!!
Have you visited the official Apple site and updated your OS to 10.5.7?
so….there’s no way to run sims 3 for those who have mac os x 10.4.11….aye?
You can try to see if you can update your OS – http://support.apple.com/downloads/Mac_OS_X_10_5_7_Combo_Update
omg, i just bought it and i only have mac os x 10.5.3 is there nothing you can download that it will make it work!!!!!
The OS is a free update, you just need to visit the Apple site – http://support.apple.com/downloads/Mac_OS_X_10_5_7_Combo_Update
:(((! bought it, wasted money does not work.
Can you update a Mac powerbook G4 w/ leopard in any way so it will run sims3?
I’m not sure, try going to the Apple site and finding your OS to see if a free upgrade is available to you. 🙂
I have a 24″ iMac (August 2008) with the following specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo (3.06 GHz)
Nvidia 8800 GS (512 MB VRAM)
2 GB RAM
Mac OSX 10.5.7
Will my Mac run The Sims 3 without any big issues?
You’ll be fine
Hey everyone …
I have a quick question , I have a late model 2008 white mac book with 2 gigs ram and a Intel GMA 3100 graphics card – I meet all of the minimum requirements for game play … I wanted to know if there would be any lag or bad rendering in game play?
before I actually make the purchase .. any input would be helpful!
It seems to vary in performance with the same specs from machine to machine. Some users have no problem what-so-ever running the game on the lowest setting….but others have graphical errors – sliders don’t work properly and such. I’m not sure what it’ll be like for you to be honest, it’s just something you’ll have to try.
I have 1GB of ram on a macbook (white) with intel GMA X3100
will it work fine???
You may want to increase your RAM to at least 2GB, but after that, it should work…With the X3100, I’d expect low to medium settings.
I have
2.5 ram
2.2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
Graphic card: GMA X3100
how will that run ? will it be slow or will graphics be bad ?
It’ll work, but don’t expect eye popping graphics and details – You’ll more than likely be playing with low to medium graphical settings.
hey
all yall with mac
i’ve seen a lot of comments like
“oh man i only have mac OS X 10.4.11” and “darn i have Mac OS X 10.5.6”
well if you dont have leopard you can buy it
its only 130$ and im assuming that if u can afford a mac you can afford this upgrade and its really worth it
and if u hav 10.5.6 go to the apple website and download the upgrade to 10.5.7
its free!
I have 1GB ram, ATY RadeonX1600 video card, 2 GHz intel core duo processor
Will sims 3 run?
Depending on your Operating System, you may be able to run it. Well, you should regardless…But I’d definitely consider adding more RAM to your machine for smoother gameplay!
How much would it be to upgrade my RAM?
Probably under less than $30. You’d have to find out what kind of RAM your machine takes and the limit your motherboard can handle. You can find those answers in your computer manual. After that, jump to your favorite online retailer that sells computer components (I use newegg) and search for the RAM you need 🙂
God people are so stupid… Of course u upgrade os x to 10.5.7 for free through software upgrade. There’s also torrents as another option if you want to go that route 🙂
I have a Macbook OS X version 10.5.7
Intel Core 2 Duo
processor speed – 2.4 ghz
am i good?
Your machine is fine, Lisa 🙂
This may sound like a stupid question to you but i seriously don’t know anything about macs haha (i just bought this one off ebay 🙂
Apple iMac G5 20 inch screen (first generation i think)
Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.6 (can and will upgrade)
1.8 GHz PowerPC G5
1.25 GB RAM
100gb Hard Drive
will it work? i’m thinking not because it says powerpc but s there any way i could like get rid of that or somthing (like i said, no mac knowledge at all haha)
thanks (:
I would add another stick of RAM to your machine, but I think it’ll do.
Hey. I have a brand new macbook pro wih these requirements (13inch):
Intel Core 2 Duo-prosessor
2 GB , 2.26 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
question: How will sims 3 run?
Haha, forgot the question in the previous post.
I’d say border lining between medium and high settings.
Hey I have a Macbook Pro will the sims three run on my computer?? I am not computer savy and this technology stuff eludes me! please help an idiot.

this is from the profile about my mac does this help ??
So far so good. Just need to have a graphics card that meet the requirements and you’re set.
Okay, this stinks. I have all the other requirements except my 13″ MacBook Version 10.5.7 MAC OS X LEOPARD has the GMA 950 graphics card!! GRARRRGHHH D<
People have reported the game can squeeze by using the GMA 950, but I cannot promise you that.
I’m actually loading right now! 🙂 You’ll be happy to know that a Leopard Thats 10.5.6 Can Run The Sims3 🙂 Hope that kinda helped!
…..
I just need a new computer, period. Mine is ancient. Dates back to 2001 or so. At least most of you guys are ahead of me requirement wise. I can barely work the sims 2 game I already have. I’m so sad. 🙁
Shafted by the PowerPC G5 requirement… dang…
The SIMS 3 does not work properly on Macs.
If you plan on running it on a Mac, don’t buy it!
I just wanted to say for all the people wondering if itll work on ppc IT WONT it said, Will not work with ppc (g3/g4/g5) and gma 950 is a load of crap, if you have a intel system get a copy of windows and get a windows copy of the game lower specs needed, and will probably run smoother.
@mark – stfu, you probably bought it, realized you don’t meet the minimum requirements, and now you’re pissed.
everyone else (with an intel mac, 2gb ram, and a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M) who keeps thier OS up to date will be able to run it just fine.
i cant update my mac to the right software coz its on tiger 10.4.11!! thats a bummer!!!
I know that people ask this all the time, but will my computer work? I tried reading through the other questions, but they don’t help.
13″ Macbook white
2.13GHz
* Intel Core 2 Duo
* 2GB DDR2 Memory
* 160GB hard drive
* NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
You’re computer should work – it passes the minimum requirements. I wouldn’t expect to play on high settings. Perhaps medium 🙂
I have: Mac OS X Version 10.5.7
1 GHz PowerPC G4 Processor
1.25 GB of memory
Is there hope?
Afraid that is a negative, Taylor. Is that laptop mostly for webbrowsing/schoolwork or work? I can’t imagine running any games on it…
SOOOOOO sims 3 definately wont work on a powerpc g4 processor? if so, how do i change this? im a real noob with macs :S
Hi All
Need a little help. Major Sims fan, but unfortunately not that good with IT.
I know I need to update my OS, which I am happy to do and planning to do. I currently have 10.4.11 (I have a 2nd generation white MacBook).
My memory is 512MB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. I am planning on updating it to 2GB – apparently that’s the max. this machine can handle.
I have plenty of disk space to suit requirements as I store everything on a external hard drive like music and documents etc.
My BIG problem is the things like graphics…
This is what I have:
Intel GMA 950:
Chipset Model: GMA 950
Type: Display
Bus: Built-In
VRAM (Total): 64 MB of shared system memory
Vendor: Intel (0x8086)
Device ID: 0x27a2
Revision ID: 0x0003
Displays:
Color LCD:
Display Type: LCD
Resolution: 1280 x 800
Depth: 32-bit Color
Built-In: Yes
Core Image: Hardware Accelerated
Main Display: Yes
Mirror: Off
Online: Yes
Quartz Extreme: Supported
Display Connector:
Status: No display connected
What on earth does this mean? And if it’s wrong is it easy to correct???
Thanks
Lost in IT, London
It’s not supported, but I *think* there are reports of the game running on the GMA 950. It’d be pushing it to the point where you won’t have a good time playing it, that’s for sure. The minimum you’d need is the GMA X3100. And it is a integrated graphics chip that is built onto the motherboard, so there is no method of replacing it. On desktops, it can be overridden with a dedicated graphics cards, but for laptops…well…you are basically out of luck 🙁
you can use this code: Testing CheatsEnabled true, and then klick on the mailbox while holding in shift. There you can see your different options.
I would like to know how can I get my sims3 game to run if my comp’s integrated GMA is the 950 series. I know it wont run with that one, so how can i get it to run?
Actually it runs but I cant see my sims, they are completely black. I know is the image that is not working and all that stuff… im not a computer brain, but i know that much. So anyway… how can I get my game to run. I have to change my GMA 950 series to the one that supports the game. How do I do that?
Laura, it’s not possible to change the GMA 950 as it is an integrated chip built directly onto the motherboard. Trying to replace it would end up damaging your motherboard and rendering your computer useless 🙁
However, if you are running a desktop, you can override the integrated chip by installing a dedicated supported video card. If you are on a laptop, then well…I’m afraid you are stuck with the problems unless you get a better laptap…

it will work??
So far so good. What do you have for a graphics chip/display?
hello everyone, i have a question.
I want to download some programs to sims 3 on my mac, but i don’t know where i can get them and what programs i need for my mac, if i want these programs for the sims 3 ? please help 🙂
I’m not too smart when it comes to Macs…so I couldn’t say… 🙁
fucking brilliant, my mac just happens to have PowerPC G5, meaning because my mac has a decent system, i cant play it, AHHH!!!!!!! is there anyways around it, please 🙁
Hey
ok i’m sure that this question has been asked but i really am clueless about macs..
My Mac OS X version is 10.5.8
processor- 2.1 GHz intel core 2 duo
Mmeory.- 1 gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
i think my memory is a preoblem..
PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER!!
I’d recommend adding another stick of 1GB of RAM for proper performance. Will it run? It may, but might be a tad troublesome to play due to possibility of lagging.
okay, i dont really understand if i have enough ram or graphics or something like that, i actually dont really understand this at all, i have a macbook 10.5.8
Chipset Model: GMA X3100
Type: Display
Bus: Built-In
VRAM (Total): 144 MB
Vendor: Intel (0x8086)

thats just copy and pasted
and i have 4G of memory, but isnt that not enough??
i think i just need to know what i need to buy to make it better
You’d be able to run it – graphics will have to be set to low as your using an internal graphics chip that well…blows. But RAM and OS pass. I’d assume you’re processor passes as well, but I do not know what you have. Hopefully a Core Duo.
thank you so much, so can i buy a different graphics chip and just install it into my computer so it’ll run better?
Ummm…it depends. If you are using a desktop, you should be able to get away with installing a graphics card. If your using a laptop – you can’t do anything about that as it is not replaceable.
dangg, i have a laptop. i guess ill just try it and if it slows my whole computer down i can just uninstall it i guess
thanks!!
I pretty sure my Mac meets all the requirements.
I have an iMac with OS X 10.5.8
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
Memory: 2 GB
Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro
The graphics in the game are terrible! Very poor resolution. Any new stuff is blacked out. I set the game settings to medium as recommended by the EA Support. So far none of the game settings have had an effect.

Does anyone know: will this game work with the new iMacs that were released this november? Specifically the 21.1 inch iMac? The one that costs $1,499?

Will the new imac computer run this:
iMac 21.5′
3.06Ghz/4GB/1TB
As long as it has a suitable passing graphics chip/card, it looks like a yes! 🙂
I dont know if the graphic card is good how do you check?
This is my graphics/display. Will it be good for this game???

That shall do just fine, Aimee 🙂
Thank you merry xmas 🙂
I remember there was a day when “minimum requirements” were more minimal. it’s really great that my new game will only work on the literally newest most up-to-date software.
It’s like they’re not even trying to conceal the fact that everyone wants you to spend till you’re dry. It’s so blatant, it makes me almost angry, but more disenchanted than anything.
I welcome. How to start sims 3 on a computer from macosx 10.4.11?
You probably need to upgrade your OS if it is possible. Don’t think/know if the game will run on anything lower than 10.5.7
I recently got the sims 3 but I’m not sure how I update my 10.4.11 to a leopard 10.5.7. and I meet the requirements. How do I update my iMac? I looked at apple.com but it was hopeless.
I’m not a Mac person, but I think you have to purchase an updated OS.
Would this game work on my iMac? My specs are:
Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac6,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.16 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
So far so good, what are you running for graphics and the operating system version?
Hello,
I would like to buy the new iMac 21,5″, but I don’t know which model to take to make The Sims 3 run well. There’s a model with the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, and the one with the ATI Radeon HD 4670. My doubt comes, because in the system requirements, on the supported video cards, there isn’t the ATI Radeon HD 4670, and I would like to know if this one works .. can you help me?
Thanks a lot.
The 4670 does work, it just wasn’t one of the cards The Sims team had tested at the time. Generally the most expensive iMac would be the best in terms of how well it’ll run, but they both should provide decent gameplay.
Hey, im considering buying a mac, I already have sims 3, tried it on my current laptop but it doesnt work, I don’t want the same thing to happen if I get an imac so can anyone recommend me of what spec imac i should get, any help is great.
I have a iMac and I have just ordered the sims 3..
My iMac seems to meet the system requriements. I’ve got..
IMac os x
10.5.8
2 GHz intel core 2 duo
3gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
ATI, radeonHD2400
anyone got the same? Will it work? ..
By all indications, it should 🙂
Thank you 😀 .. And also thanks for the quick reply 🙂
just don’t want it messing up my iMac!
i have a mac os x 10.4.11. is there anything i can do??????
Hi, maybe you can help me…
I’ve been running Sims 3 on my Mac without any problems, but after installing S3 World Adventures, it keeps freezing mid-game. My Mac is pretty much brand new (Intel Core 2 Duo, 3.06 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM) and my software is up to date (Mac OS X 10.6.3).
Could it be my video card? ATI Radeon HD 4670 (256 MB VRAM). It’s not listed as one of the supported cards…
Sounds good, the card is a pretty decent one, so I don’t think it’s any of your hardware. I’m not a Mac person, so I’m not too good at troubleshooting, but have you made sure your graphics card driver is up-to-date via checking the manufacture’s website?
Thanks for getting back to me! 🙂
I did a bit of investigating, and apparently the Radeon drivers are downloaded automatically as part of the Mac software updates. My software is up-to-date, so I’m assuming so are the drivers…
Any other ideas? I’m clueless!
Ummm…besides the generic answers EA will give you, I’m not exactly sure. I assume you are running without any modified files or custom content, and that you’ve tried reinstalling the games, right?
I hav mac OSX 10.5.6 dose dat meen it wont work
I don’t have the Intel Core Duo.. is there anyway to download it or get it? I would really like to play Sims 3 on my mac.
yeah just wondering if sims will work on my system, can you get back to me asap please 🙂

its the 2010
10.6.4 version
Looks like it is capable to run the game.
I have a mac OS X 10.4.11 will go, and how to download?
Am I the only one noticing that there seems to be one guy who claims to not know much about macs helping everyone because unlike them he is capable of reading and then comparing. I’m not trying to be mean but it seems like he is doing something all of you could all do yourselves. Its written plainly at the top of the page. I’m surprised the poor guy has given up and said why don’t you check for yourselves.
i have
mac os x 10.4.11
processor: 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
memory: 512 MB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
will it run sims 3? if not wot can i do to fix it?
Calum, don’t believe it will. Your operating system needs to be updated to 10.5.7 or higher and you need at least 2GB of memory to run the game.
My question (which may be ignorant, but I am when it comes to computers) is: Will the Sims 3 eat up my memory on my MacBookPro? I don’t want the computer to start getting slow on me.
Hey Shelby, it will onlly eat up the memory while the game is running. Hope that helps
Hi please help me I really want to play sims 2 or 3!!!! i want it badly… here is details about my mac:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro7,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2

Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 320M
Type: GPU
Bus: PCI
VRAM (Total): 256 MB
Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
please help me if my mac do have a hope for sims 2 or 3?
and what do you think is better for my mac? is it sims 2 or sims 3? PLEASE HELP.. thanks
Sims 2 should run very smoothly on your machine, Clarice. Sims 3 also meets the requirements and should run as well, but I can’t say at what quality.
additional info… I have Mac OS X 10.6.3…..
thank you so much!
Not sure but does my laptop meet the requirements?
Model: MacBook Pro (OSX 10.6.4) (MacBookPro4,1)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo
Speed: 2.4 GHz
Memory: 2 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
Hi just wondering if Sims 3 will work okay on my macbook? I’m hopeless with this stuff…
here are my details..
Model Name: MacBook
Model Identifier: MacBook7,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
Your components do exceed the requirements – as long as you are running an OS higher than version 10.5.7 you’ll be able to!
hi, im going to buy a macbook tomorrow, will a macbook with video card NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM run the sims 3? Just would hate to be disappointed when i try to install and play it
so i’ve got this:
Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
i was just wondering if thats good enough? or…?
and how do i find out if it runs on a power pc or has the GMA 950 thingo…?
I have macbook air, without a dvd drive.
will I be able to play sims3 withoou the disc once i install it on the ahrd drive through a remote drive?
okay people. since it seems that all of you people don’t know whether your sims 3 will run on your Macs, here is some tips. firstly, if you have Mac OS X 10.4 or lower, you need to PURCHASE Leopard from the mac store. (apple.com) install it and you should be ready. if your wondering if you can just update your computer, you can’t run the game if you don’t meet the requirments. If you notice on the case under requirments, it says Mac OS X 10.5.7 Loepard or higher. so if you dont have that. then the game wont run. this might sound a bit harsh, but its the truth. contact the sims 3 site for any more questions. thx.
hi, ive installed the game. but i have 1 problem. all the characters are darkened. what should i do?
my specs:
10.5.7
intel core duo 1.83 ghz
ram, 1gb
video ram, 64 Mb
hey people. Im back again… so just to be totally clear. If you have a lower version like 10.4 or similar, then you can go to the mac store and buy leopard. my uncle got the disk through the school (cuz he teaches there) and installed it. btw people, if your serious about sims, then you will be doing research on whether it runs on ur computer or not. I updated my mac to 10.5 and sims 3 works fine. so as long as you have 10.5.7 or higher your good.
oh btw mark, try setting your screen brightness up higher. or it might the fact that you need i more mb of ram space. your video ram is also pretty low so what i did is i got about 11 gb from putting pics and vids onto discs and then deleting them from the hard drive. i also got ride of all logs, caches and deleted any unwanted history. it may help.
Hey, So I’m thinking about going to purchase The Sims 3 tomorrow, but i’m not sure if it’ll work on my computer. It was actually my grandpa’s computer (he passed last Sunday) so im not too sure how to work it.. It’s an iMac i believe, and looking at all these comments/questions^ i see a lot of talk about a ‘video card’ which i’m not sure if i have one, or not.. and where could i find it located at? and if it’ll even work on a mac? my cousin let me borrow her old sims, i tried installing and it said it couldn’t on a mac (this was the OLD sims. the original complete collection) So i guess im asking if it’ll work on my iMac, and is a ‘video card’ absolutly needed to run the game?
My specs are:

Katie, so far it’s known like this:
Processor – Passes
Memory – No, you need 2GB of RAM (it *may* work, but it’d be choppy)
Operating System – Need to know if it’s 10.5.7 or higher. If not, then no luck with that.
Video Card – Yeah, you do need one – I’m not sure what your Mac would have (I am unfamiliar with Macs)

Its a mac os X version 10.6.7 …i already bought sims 3 to play on it but its not working..its not even accepting the disk.. it will just keep ejecting it. Is there anything i can do to make it work?
That doesn’t seem right, Josh. Bad disk, perhaps? Any chance you can try installing it on a different computer to confirm that?
how about the latest macbook pro 13 2011 inch i5 intel integrated graphic card 3000 would it be able to support?
Hey guys, so I just got the new macbook pro 15″ 2.2Ghz and it won’t let me run the sims 3.
I think this has something to do with the program not supporting the new graphics card but I was just wondering if there was way around this without having to get an other graphics card??
Hi, I’ve just installed sims 3 on to my MacBook 2010 pro 7.1 2.4 ghz nvidia ge force 320m
I not good with tech stuff and a fairly new Mac user. I got the program to install but it won’t run. Are my system req’s ok? Any suggestions? I love this game and so bummed I can get it to work!!
Hey, I have a Mac OS X version 10.5.8 with these stats:

Do i need more memory to run The Sims 3? If so, how do I get this (my computer knowledge stops at facebook)?
Why don’t you people actually check the requirements for yourself? If you can find that sort of information, you can DEFINITELY compare your system specs to the requirements, can’t you? It’s not that hard! And if you’re buying a new Mac, look at the specs and make it meet them.
Simple!!!!!
🙁 this sucks, i upgraded my 2007 MacBook to Snow Leopard and my chipset is GMA 950.. Oh well, at least i have a windows 7 computer..
Just want to be clear. . . In order to play Sims 3 on my IMac 10.4.11 I need to purchase Mac Os X Snow Leopard?! One more thing. . . If I do need to buy the software, when I install it, it will not delete or harm any of my personal documents, right?
why is it.. my macbook pro 13 core i5 is RUNNING SO SLOWW ON SIMS 3!????
I had to buy Snow Leopard anyways to run other apps that I needed but I was frustrated to learn that Sims 3 didn’t work on my 10.4.11 system but Snow Leopard only costs $30 on Amazon and it is a legitimate copy from Apple.
When i record videos on the sims 3, i cannot watch them nor edit them. HELP!
So does this mean the newer macs aren’t supported- with ATI Radeon HD 6750M
I’ve read the posts but i’m useless in understanding this stuff. I have a MacBook Pro 13″ and i’ve tried searching for information on what graphics card or video card i have and the furthest i’ve gotten is this –
