Just today I was playing TS1 + EPs though. I don’t know, it has that charm that other installments have lost over time. And also, it’s so retro! You’ve got to love it :3
He didn’t even try to play the game… He was just trolling about the lack of features that the first game had more than 12 years ago… Seriously? I usually like his reviews, but this time he was beyond lazy.
@Naus I find it odd to say that I wasn’t even trying to play the game, as if there was only one proper way to play The Sims. I was playing it in my own way, and part of that was realizing, how after so many years, that there really wasn’t all that much to the original game but it was a crapton of fun regardless. Boring at times, but still a lot of fun. Oh and lazy? Yeah, that’s kind of the name of the show 🙂
I found the video funny. I played mine differently, though. I had families on each lot that I would play, work up in separate careers, and make friends with each other around the neighborhood. Once I maxed out on the jobs, I installed Livin Large and started enjoying all the extra stuff.
The Sims is one of those games that’s fun to play in a progression — base, LL, HP, etc. Each expansion truly was an “expansion”.
He’s hilarious, where’d you find him/he found you, at?

Ahh this reminds me of the evil stuff I did in the original and how hilarious it was to watch them die.
